As you all are aware, with the advent of the coronavirus, MSUB on March 16th shut down all in person classes and student activities on the campus. This included the work of student groups such as United Campus Ministry
We know this will continue in the summertime. MSUB, working in consultation with all the Montana campuses came up with a plan that will allow students to return with some measure of safety this fall.
Through those measures small gatherings with students and one on one meetings with students will happen in person. We will continue to host some of our programs online as well.
Large events like Sacred Conversations and our annual fall dinner will not be taking place. Instead we are producing a video about UCM and what we are doing on the campus of MSUB. This video be shared this fall with our supporting congregations.
In the time of coronavirus, it becomes doubly important to support the work of your local congregations and mission programs and yes UCM. The pastoral needs the virus presents, the need for community is all the greater.
As this is developed, find out more by following UCM on Facebook at facebook.com/unitedcampusministry.msub/ and on the web at http://ucm-msub.org/
