Campus Ministry’s Role in the Future of the Church
The Rt. Rev, Marty Stebbins, the Episcopal bishop of the Diocese of Montana, is our keynote speaker. As we consider the challenges of the church, which have increased with the coronavirus, our keynote speaker will share her thoughts on the role of campus ministry can play in the future life of the church.

This speech will be part of a video we are making which includes greetings from our students, faculty, staff and our supporting churches. The video will provide a chance to learn more about UCM’s work on the campus of MSU Billings and will be shared this fall.

We are asking supporters for individual contributions and contributions from churches that will include recognition and space to share about the work of these supporting churches in our fall presentation. Your support means a continuing faith presence at MSUB.

Celebrating the ministry Rev. Dr, John A Lee
May 14, 1936-Aug 2, 2020

Founding campus minister of United Christian Campus Ministry, now UCM, serving from 1967-1977. He also taught in the Religion and Philosophy Department at Eastern. In both positions he created the space to question and explore faith and laid the groundwork for UCM’s DNA for these last 53 years.
A memorial fund in his name has been established by the class of 1967-1970 in honor of his role at mentoring students and in support of the peer ministry program. Checks can be made to UCM at MSUB, the subject line identifying the Rev. Dr John Lee memorial fund.
A video in celebration of his life can be found below
