![]() 58th Anniversary Fall Dinner Bishop Kristin Stoneking, Mountain Sky Conference Minister for the United Methodist Church October 14th, 2025 at 5:30 pm Glacier Room of the MSUB Student Union Building Bishop Stoneking was campus minister at the University of California, Davis where she re-invigorated the ecumenical campus ministry. There, she founded the Multifaith Living Community, building six townhouses to create a community where faith formation for United Methodist students and other students of faith could be real and relevant as they learned to articulate and claim their faith in a pluralistic environment. A nationally recognized model, the community included students from many faith backgrounds, was structured on a dedication to faith, community, social justice, and sustainability, and made the campus ministry financially self-sustaining. Bishop Kristin Stoneking brings a rich and varied background and a passion for creating welcoming communities and advocating for a more just and peaceful society to her role as Bishop of the Mountain Sky Conference and as a member of the College of Bishops of the Western Jurisdiction. As the episcopal leader of the Mountain Sky conference, Bishop Stoneking brings a deep faith and belief that a world where all can thrive and experience the love of God is not just possible, but promised. This event includes a dinner, a chance to hear the stories of students and meet with them, and a silent and live auction to support UCM’s ministry. Tickets are $50.
